ProActive Rehab, Huntsville, Ontario’s longest running, private, independent, full-service physical
rehabilitation clinic, has an immediate opening for a full-time Physiotherapy Resident.


Since 1999, ProActive Rehab has provided physiotherapy, massage therapy, aquatherapy, persistent pain treatment and concussion therapy to clients from all over our region. ProActive’s interdisciplinary team works collaboratively to help clients in all aspects of their physical recovery, with the goal of restoring healthy and active lifestyles.

• Competitive compensation package; hourly rate, annual range: $36-40/hr

Expectations of the position
• Provisional license to practice with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
• Provide assessment and treatment for any and all conditions that may present to the clinic within
scope of practice and skill set.
• Complete all written reports, including WSIB and MVA forms, to the standard and time frame
established by the clinic.
• Adhere to standards and regulations set out by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
• Participate in all in-house learning/training opportunities provided.
• Attend relevant postgraduate education courses to expand knowledge and skill set.
• Request consultation with another physiotherapist when help or a second opinion may be required.


Skill requirements
• Successful completion of the written component of the CAPR Physiotherapy Competency Exam
(PCE). We will support you through the Resident and credentialing process.
• Organizational skills.
• Good listening and people interaction skills.
• Keen sense of customer service/relations and how this fits with quality service provision.
• Willingness to expand thinking and skills as the physiotherapy profession evolves.
• Computer skills to be able to efficiently create and handle Word/Google Drive documents, memory stick function and email. Able to efficiently learn our clinic management software/EMR record keeping system.
