Brand New Clinic/Fitness Facility In Etobicoke!

Are you looking to join a fast-growing health and fitness facility and collaborate with other health professionals?!

At Tru Performance, we are looking for an enthusiastic, licensed Physiotherapist who is passionate about helping clients achieve their goals and improve their daily function and performance. We are a movement-based clinic and strongly value a combination of hands-on techniques with exercise rehabilitation therapy to enhance our patient's mobility, strength and overall performance. Tru Performance believes in bringing in a welcoming, confident and an overall positive energy to every day in the clinic.

We are located in a high vehicular and pedestrian traffic area across from Kipling GO Station in Etobicoke! We strategically designed our brand new clinic with soundproofed treatment rooms and a large gym area for exercise and active rehabilitation to enhance patients and team's quality in our space.

Day to Day Activities:

  • Meet with patients to assess their physical challenges and provide an appropriate, collaborative plan of care
  • Monitoring the progress of patients and adjusting or changing treatments as needed
  • Assisting and participating in social media campaigns, posts and other media content to promote services within the Company
  • Liaising with other healthcare professionals within and outside of the Company, as well as referring patients as needed
  • Updating and maintaining accurate patient case notes and reports for insurance, clinical and WSIB purposes
  • Staying up to date regarding new physiotherapy technologies and techniques
  • Supervising and providing mentorships to Resident Physiotherapists
  • Host and participate in company events, workshops, seminars and webinars to improve the quality of patient care, as well as, further your own education
  • Complying with government physiotherapy regulations

Physiotherapist Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, their families and other healthcare professionals
  • Good teamwork skills, collaborating with other health professionals
  • Excellent verbal communicating skills to clearly share information with patients and fellow employees
  • Excellent punctuality, time management and organizational skills
  • Strong active listening skills to accurately understand patients’ issues
  • Good observational skills to correctly evaluate how patients are responding to treatments
  • Strong analytical skills to correctly diagnose conditions and develop effective treatment programs

Physiotherapist Experience & Qualifications

  • At least 2 years experience working as a licensed Physiotherapist.
  • Experience in an athletic environment treating sports injuries considered an asset.
  • If you are applying as a Resident Physiotherapist, you must have a supervisor.

Job Types: Independent Contractor Position, part-time to start

Salary: From $47.00 per hour
