Part Time Physiotherapist (Flexible Hours)

Nova Active Rehab provides a culture of caring. It is our mission to provide the highest quality of patient care. We are looking for a physiotherapist that is available two to three days per week. There is flexibility for this position to either be a contract or employee position. 

Nova Active Rehab is a flexible and family oriented employer. We understand that your work schedule needs to work with your family situation and that may change over time. This position is perfect for someone who is returning to work after maternity leave or someone who has young children who needs flexible work hours. 

New grads are welcome to apply. There is an experienced physiotherapist on the team to provide support and mentorship if needed.

We believe physiotherapy treatments should not be rushed. We schedule adequate time for assessments and 30 minute time slots for subsequent appointments. We have private physiotherapy treatment rooms and a separate office space for doing computer work.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and treat private and ICBC patients

• Maintain charts in Jane app

• Write reports for third parties such as ICBC

• Liaise with General Practitioners, Occupational Therapists and Kinesiologists regarding patient’s treatment

Requirements:

• Registered Physical Therapist with the College of Physical Therapists of BC

• A passion for helping injured people 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Strong leadership skills

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to work independently
