Clearwater Physical Therapy is a thriving Physical Therapy organization located in the beautiful city of Fort McMurray, Alberta. Locally owned and operated, the organization has been a strong member of the community for over 16 years. Clearwater Physical Therapy promotes health and wellness and focuses on patient-centered, evidence informed practice.

We have open concept clinic with a large, well equipped gym/exercise space ideal for active and functional rehab, as well as curtained treatment spaces available. Our treatment model involves one to one assessment and treatment of clients as well as group sessions for education/exercise including balance and fall prevention, and GLAD program. Services include musculoskeletal physical therapy, pelvic floor/women’s health and pediatric physical therapy. Clearwater Physical Therapy also offers massage therapy services.

The rehabilitation professionals do structured monthly education sessions and the clinic owner is an FCAMPT who is available for regular mentorship. A structured mentorship program is offered to new grads within their first year, to ensure their success

A strong candidate would demonstrate:
-Confidence with their skillset
-An aptitude for manual therapy
-A commitment to continuing education in the Orthopaedic Division curriculum.
-A familiarity with fitness, strength training, and various sports.
-Good communication skills and commitment to quality patient education.
-New grads are welcome, but clinical experience and advanced manual therapy credentials are a strong asset.
-An interest in pelvic health is a strong asset .
