The Fort St. John Child Development Centre invites you to consider joining our family-centered, inter-disciplinary team of professionals. Our facility is second to none boasting a hydrotherapy pool, Snoezelen room, gymnasium and new therapy spaces. Vacation time is a minimum of four weeks plus holiday closures and benefits begin after 3 months. Frontline staffs are members of HSA - Health Sciences Association of BC.  We offer a wide array of services including early intervention services, infant development, supported childcare, respite and skills program, autism program, early year’s centre, and a fully integrated preschool and daycare.  With over 1250 children accessing the CDC each year it is a thriving, energetic and rewarding environment to practice and grow.

The incumbent is responsible to organize physiotherapy services for the clients of the Centre, and to assess, develop and implement individual and group physiotherapy treatment programs. Working within a team concept, the Physiotherapist coordinates physiotherapy services with other services, such as Pre-School, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Family Services, Special Services and other service providers as appropriate. The Physiotherapist will maintain and foster a collegial and professional relationship with staff of the Centre, and with organizations and individuals associated with the CDC. This position may be responsible to supervise up to 2 Rehabilitation Assistants.
